Animated Family Film Showing: "Titina"

Livsreise announces a special event during Koselig Week in downtown Stoughton! Livsreise will be a showing of the full-length animated family film “Titina". This film is available to Livsreise through cooperation of the Royal Embassy in Washington, D.C and courtesy of the Norwegian Film Institute . “Titina” is a 2022 Norwegian-Belgian film directed by Kajsa Næss. It is loosely inspired by real events and deals with Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen and Italian engineer Umberto Noblie’s 1926 journey over the North Pole, on the airship Norge. Nobile brings along his beloved dog, Titina on the voyage. The film is interspersed with actual film footage of the airship and its passengers. Through the eyes of the four-legged celebrity, Titina, (re)discovers a true story of triumph and defeat. The film has Norwegian audio but is without subtitles which are not necessary as a synopsis of the film will be given at the prior to the showing. “Titina” is recommended for children over 6 years old. All children attending will receive a holiday gift for attending.
